I don't have any pet peeves.

I have a couple of cats, though.

My wife found a good button of mine to push recently. We're in our office (2 desks, 2 pcs, our hangout place) and I'll say something, ask a question, whatever... and I get nothin... no response. All I'm asking for is a half gutteral grunt. cMON! Half-deaf grouchy guys playing classic rock too loud like to know their snide remark etc has been heard. Otherwise we spend the next few minutes saying 'Huh?... what?.... Did you hear me?... Hello?'

I know my wife and I are rather high on the telepathy-and-finishing-each-other's-sentences index, but I'm really not confident enough in it to depend on it.

WHY, MY GOOD MAN, your problem is easily solved, let ole PM show you how ( <redacted_emoji> ):

Start every sentence, you wish to address to the Lady of the house, off like so: "Dear, you know that ring you've been wanting, (that will get her attention), then you make your point, like "I think we need some toilet paper in the bathroom.".

I assure you my Good Man, you will get a reaction from her - course now, it might do you well to remove all sharp objects from y'all's office AND make sure your health-care insurance is up to date - other than that - give it a try... 8O

Hmm.... I already flinch when she makes a sudden move toward me... if I did that I'd walk around like a long tailed cat in a rocking chair factory. 8O

I hate when it feels like Friday afternoon, but it's really only Thursday afternoon.
