#3 - Square Deal (Poker Style)

Working on a new pipe with a bowl made Oak and a MM shank. The bowl chamber is 3/4" x 1 3/8"... Any ideas on how I should finish the bowl?

I made a pipe of red red oak once and tried three different finishes. The final was to try and ebonize the finish to mimic morta. The black couldn't be sanded off.

I wish I had left it alone and gone with a natural carnauba finish. I'm betting it would've taken on a real nice color just from being smoked and handled.

It's a smoker now, maybe a little more added details, then some buffing with wax and then enjoy it with my favorite tobacco's.
