Wife Quitting

Post by JohnnyMcPiperson » Thu Oct 19, 2017 2:21 pm

Please pray for the McPiper family, my wife’s boss recently stepped down in his old age and handed the church and school over to his son. My wife has been the Education Director for 4 years and the new boss is treating her like crap and going around her to do things his way within the school. She has decided, after being yelled at for no logical reason this morning, that she is done, this will mark a new chapter for the McPiper clan all while my wife is 2 months pregnant with #2. So I’m a bit stressed about the financial aspect as well as her health and the health of the baby amidst this stress. Just prayers... I have faith that the Lord will provide as he always has, it’s just a weary step of faith since my income as a teacher is not sufficient to sustain our family on its own.

That's tough. Prayers!
“I believe that many who find that "nothing happens" when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a tough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand.”

Tell the guy to either pay $10,000 for his abuse, or else keep his mouth shut.

Praying.
As thus we sat in darkness
Each one busy with his prayers,
"We are lost!" the captain shouted,
As he staggered down the stairs.

Having been through regime changes repeatedly throughout ministry, I can attest to the fact that new folks coming in always try to make their mark in one way or another. It seems that is what's going on here too. It's a shame really.

Praying for you guys.
