Mrs. Michigander having surgery

Post by michigander » Tue Oct 24, 2017 3:08 am

Hi All -

If you think of it today, could you pray for my wife Mary? She is having surgery today (around noon).

She's having a hysterectomy - her mom died from ovarian / uterine cancer about 25 years ago. So, my wife's doctor has been recommending for years that she get this done.

Today's the day.

Appreciate your prayers.

Thanks Bothers.

Kent

Thanks to everyone (and especially to God for His faithfulness), she's doing fine.

Everything went well and everything looked normal-- she should come home tomorrow.

Thanks again

I wanted to give you an update to let you know things couldn't have gone better.

She's been recovering at home, and now her biggest threat is that she is getting stir crazy.

She's been gradually adding activity and will go to working a few hours/day next week. She is being very wise in what she's doing, but she hasn't had any real pain/discomfort.

Thanks for all of the prayers.
