It's cold here{SW Illinois}this morning. 27* w/a wind chill factor making it 15*

No snow or anything, just frosty.

Well, a little farther up the road in IL (25 miles N of Bloomington/Normal), it's currently 21 with a windchill of 7!

We got... (guessing here) 6+ inches of snow, maybe a bit more. There was even 4-6 inches in the harvested fields yesterday. A LOT more in the drifted areas.

Bout a foot and a half of snow in Newcastle, England right now, when I left Spain it was about 70 degrees and sunny... what a change!

God made it, I love it!

We have the extraordinary luxury of having an old Grumman aluminium canoe that is stored not quite under the eaves just outside one of the master bedroom windows. It rained early this morning and the sound of the rain on that old aluminium canoe was just delightful!

Its got to be one of the best sounds in the world to wake up to!

Same 80 miles south. About an inch and a half of snow and a high of 26 today. Only 21 degrees right now.

Yesterday was beautiful here in Sanford, FL, but today it's gray and nasty. But it's 61, so I can't complain of the cold.

We have an unusually large amount of snow for the Boise area, especially so early in the season. About 8 inches on the ground. Highs in the lower forties this week, so there's gonna be some flooding.

Sunday mornin', almost noon in Wisconsin.

22°F, bright & partly cloudy. Wind out of the NW, looks like 8-10 mph (judging by the windsock in my backyard).

This is Wisconsin, so we are not allowed to discuss 'wind chill.'

Yesterday's snowfall will be with us until March... so it'll be a white Christmas.
