She's one of those types who wakes up an hour or so before she has to so she can have "quiet time" with the Lord. I remember growing up she would wake up at 5am and spend an hour in the Word and in prayer. Only then would she get ready for her teaching job. She's written two Bible studies (which she is trying to get published). She has a bunch of notebooks filled with handwritten notes on her studies. I've never heard her speak ill about another person. I remember my dad (also a pastor) would be writing a sermon and yell across the house, "Honey? Where's that passage that talks about so-and-so?" My mom would know chapter AND verse! It was insane!

Now don't get me wrong. She has her faults. But I was ridiculously blessed by God to have her as a mother. My dad definitely married up!
