Seemed a little moist.
Talk about a foul room note
Cats seem to like it though.

A three-year-aged 8-ounce tin of G.L. Pease Jackknife Plug. Sliced up one of the 4 blocks, rubbed it out and let it set on a plate for about 20 minutes before jarring it. I'll air it out for a few minutes a couple more times over the next week before enjoying it.

Last tin opened was 2 ounces of Haddo's Delight. A pound of Pegasus was delivered today and is jarred up and I got another 8 ounce can of Barbary Coast too. I have a 16 ounce can of Haddo's Delight on the way. I like to smoke two or three bowls of good burley blends like OJK, HB, Big and Burley or Pegasus and then smoke something a shade sweeter for dessert. That's why I like the Barbary Coast and the Haddo's Delight is especially good.

A 2017 tin of McClelland - Tudor Castle rubbed out & decanting on a plate as I type. I have some 2015 and older but I'm saving that for last.

Ok. I opened a pouch of my guilty pleasure. Sutliff Pistachio. Very lightly flavored, not sticky. I find it delightful.

Fribourg & Treyer Blackjack. You see, I'm an aristocrat (read in Shemp's voice for intended effect).

Savinelli Aroma

I found an older tin, just like the one pictured above. Both the scent in the tin and the smoking experience reminded me of an Esoterica blend; perhaps Pembroke, or Stonehaven but I'm not sure.

Yesterday, I cracked a 2017 tin of McClelland Aurora and spread it out on a plate for 1/2 hour of new oxygen.

A couple-year-old tin of McCl Cellar, gifted from Bloodhound last Monday evening in Co. Springs. I gets better daily as it slowly dries out.
I'm old but I'm happy. (Most of the time.)

Riverboat Gambler. You need to have something to sip on with this tobacco. It's pretty strong.

I cut open an 8oz bag of Esoterica Peacehaven & jarred it tonight. This stuff smells amazing.
I tend to find the doctrinal books often more helpful in devotion than the devotional books.... I believe that many who find that "nothing happens" when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a rough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand.
