No, but admittedly I didn't know it existed until now. Looks like it could be a love it or hate it blend.

Brad came over and we were playing with stuff in the garage.

We were making secret potions out of the cleaning chemicals. And we were laughing really hard.
And one secret potion stained part of the floor of the garage a greenish yellow color.
And my Dad put his head in to say it was time for dinner and then he wanted to see what was so funny. But we didn't want to say.

Then Dad came over to see and Brad was eating foil.

Vermont Meat Candy is one GREAT baccy. I try to keep a little on hand. While I prefer English and other non aromatics, This blend is a delight. You can see my review of this on http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/539 ... meat-candy - I use the same handle there as here, Haroldt. Also check out the review there by "PipeStud." He is an interesting man. I find his taste and mine are similar, but his writing style is a hoot!

The great RussO is a member of the Lehigh Valley PC, and as we were talking about the different types of dark fired and KY that seem to be stuffed into many new trendy blends, he mentioned his VT Meat Candy and how the smoke curing gave a very bacony taste. I don't know if this would be kosher (if that's of any concern to CPSers). We were also talking about what it would take to recreate a Syrian Latakia. The unique taste there is a product of both the source leaf as well as the wood used for the smoke curing.

Twas I!

Do I get a prize, or shall I be banished from the site??

I was looking over the site to see if any of my favorite baccy's had been discussed. You will most likely see some other postings be resurrected as I continue my search.

I'll post on this one. Picked up 4oz of Vt Meat Candy and 4oz of Classic Burley Kake not long ago.

I like both, but really didn't get a lot of maple out of the Vt Meat Candy... I get the smoky, baconey flavor, and like it pretty well. Good stuff. Was hoping for a bit more maple, but maybe my taste buds are off.

However, the Classic Burley Kake touch of anise/black licorice won me over big time.

A Dean sighting, on a NF resurrected thread. It's a good day.
