Superbowl smoke

Post by Winton » Sat Feb 03, 2018 6:22 pm

Due to the temps being in the 30's today and tomorrow is supposed to be much colder, I enjoyed my Super Bowl smoke today instead of tomorrow.

I enjoyed a bowl of Tuskegee Airman in my Dunhill. I won this blend in a C&D contest to guess the score of the Superbowl. Since it was one of their new blends, I am guessing that this was Superbowl 2011. I didn't enjoy latakia then, but now it is growing on me.

I also was able to fix my router, so I made great progress on a new pipe stand, for a new pipe I bought that doesn't sit in my regular pipe rack. Word of advice, don't use hickory as a prototype of a new project.

I shall not watch the Super Bowl as my protest against all things NFL continue.

Forum rules suggest I now shut it and say naught else about it.

Likewise, strong lack of interest in the Superbowl.

I know that the Packers aren't playing. I don't know who is.

I have a stash of McClelland tobaccos nearby to be smoked. Some McTruffle, Just Plain Nut, and some 2015 Va/per.

I really don't know who is playing. I don't follow basketball.

I will be smoking some Stirling Flake, doing chores, and hanging out with my wife. When the game starts we will switch to Netflix.

That’s all I have to say about that.

My football watching ended when Alabama won the National Championship. I gave up on pro when Tampa fired Dungy.

Now I wait till march for the Strade Blanche, Paris-Nice and so forth until the Grand Tours start.

Only good thing about the Super Bowl is that means the CFL. Is just 5 months away :taco: Image

So far no one posting in this thread watched the game. I'll add my name to that list. I was able to get together earlier in the day with two old smoking friends I haven't seen in awhile. We stunk up the house with some Squadron Leader, C&D Professor, and some Dunhill EMP.

I watched the game. It was very entertaining. The Philadelphia Eagles, with a second-year coach and backup quarterback beat the GOAT coach/QB combo from New England, but the win was up for grabs until the very last second.

Also, posting your protest on social media does not one bit of good for your cause. The NFL laughs at your outrage. Just sayin'.

Meh, as Del would say. But I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

We started watching Vikings on Amazon prime. Good show. Twisted, but well made.

Wow. This almost makes you seem like a regular jo instead of a wealthy real estate tycoon.

At least everyone stood for the national anthem as they are supposed to do.

That's what I heard. I also heard that some or all of the Eagles gave all glory to God in post game interviews. So that's good.
