What is your everyday blend?

Post by arank87 » Tue Sep 17, 2019 7:40 pm

This has probably been asked before but times and taste change. What is the blend you smoke everyday? I don’t have one yet but if pressed I would say MM 965 or a reasonable facsimile.

The blend changes often, but my go to daily smoke is usually a heavy burley. Right now it's OJK Blue.

Usually a burley, Pegasus, Haunted Bookshop but lately I've been hitting the Barbary Coast a lot. In the evening, something stronger like Old Joe Krantz, Big and Burley or if I want something a little sweeter Haddo's Delight.

Mornings it is usually an english and more likely than not Black Mallory or Squadron. Nights it is usually ODF.

I don't smoke daily...just 3 or 4 times a week. I am liking the blends with some punch, because it is the last thing I do before bed. C&D Snug Harbor finds its way to my pipe regularly, Dark Flake, Mountain Camp and some others. But I tend to lean towards the Balkan blends so if I were to pick a daily regular it would likely be a Balkan of some mix or another. Hows that for clear and concise? :egor:

Most know I like the Gawith, Hoggarth and Samuel Gawith Virginia Flakes, so long as they have little to no Lakeland essence.

One of these tobaccos fills my enormous bent Tinsky Poker every morning. I'm currently smoking my way through a jam packed 1`/2 pint Kerr jar of yummy GH Scotch Flake.

Was HH Vintage Syrian when I had some.

Now it's Presbyterian for novelty.
