I truly loath olives of all colors. Once again, Jocose and I have nothing in common. :chili:

On the must try list. I'm going to put some in egg salad here in a few.

I sing of the mighty, meaty green olive, who lounges luxuriously in the jacuzzi jets of my martini glass!

Love black olives except the canned stuff to me they are flavorless being raised on black olives such as kalamata and amphissa

Lye-cured (canned) black olives. Yum. Mild and smooth.

Those who like these might also like Castelvetrano greens.

Subtract the amphissa and substitute Bella di Cerignola and I'm with you. Oh, and those lovely little dried olives, too. Olives are one of my favorite foods, except for the canned black and the bottled Spanish. I can eat them, but they lack the essence of olive.

Manzanilla, por favor, mamacita. Put them on a platter to give me something to do while I'm drinking a martini, in which I prefer my olives not appear. I like the combination of gin and dry vermouth. Ain't no need to sully good spirits with salty juice.

But the BEST part of Thanksgiving dinner is dessert, you dullards. Pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie (or casserole, if prepared properly), and carrot cake.

I am surprised; I would have guessed that you would go with that cranberry jelly crap in a can.

I like my savory food to be savory, so I typically eschew da sauce.
