There are very few foods I don't like. Olives are are one them. They rank right down there with beets. :barf2:

For all of you Olive haters..

What does the Bible have to say about Olives?

That's easy! It says that in order to achieve salvation you must devour an entire Mt. of Olives! :bite:

Am I the only person who actually looks forward to the turkey?

I hate olives. Oh, but I do hate them.

I am presently eating Cracker Barrel Aged Reserve Extra Sharp White Cheddar, which reminds me of my childhood. Mom always had some kind of quality sharp cheddar in the fridge during the holidays.

Yes, yes.. The best thing about Thanksgiving is Black Olives.

Let's do Thanksgiving before going off about Christmas.

Eat some Black Olives.

The very best part of my Thanksgiving dinner is having my family 'round the table :D
The next best part is---the leftovers!

I AM a fan of the black olives... haven't had "unfortunate" surprises with the deviled eggs, although one aunt in particular can be somewhat heavy handed with garlic salt in hers for some reason... Those can surprise you a bit.

My BIL would agree, but I much prefer the pimento stuffed green variety, and even more, my wife's homemade sweet pickles.

The next best part is---the leftovers!

Family gatherings are over-rated.

But Thanksgiving leftovers are a lot of fun.

Olives are a year-round thing. Like tobacco.

I think it depends on the family, and what family members bring (and even more important, don't bring) to the table. :D

Anybody put olives in tuna salad? I load my tuna salad with olives. Try it. It's really good.

My favorite part of Thanksgiving at my father's side of the family is the chili colorado and pecan pies made with New Mexico pecans.

You know I was talking about BLACK olives, right? Not the green ones. Those are for soaking in gin.
