Enjoyed Dune Messiah well enough, but I want a break before taking a stab at Children of Dune, so I figured I'd knock out Mistborn. Been hearing so much good about this for so long - time to experience it for myself.

The Lattimore translation of The Iliad for light reading, Orthodox Dogmatic Theology to wind me down, and St Hilary of Potiers's De Trinitate for just before bed.

Ecclesiastes.

Lot of good stuff. Every single earthly thing one cares about is vanity.
Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth

I received a copy of Keep the Change by Tom McGuane on Monday and finished it yesterday. Didn't care for the story or some of the details, but man can that guy write a story.

Now reading a copy of Cornwell's, The Last Kingdom. He's a pretty good writer as well.

I'm gonna give a big endorsement for my current read, "Every Good Endeavor" by Tim Keller. I'm very impressed with it!
