Pumpkin ale seems like it hit the shelves a bit early this year. I think I saw 'em as early as the first week of August.

I've tried a couple so far. Had me a Schlafly (I bought a single bottle...bleh...I think it was an old one...but tried one on tap, still delicious!). Of the handful of others I tried the one that stuck out to me was O'Fallon's Vanilla Pumpkin. I didn't think it'd work, but I was pleasantly surprised. And I bought a six pack of New Belgium's Atomic Pumpkin. Brewed with habaneros!

Whatchoo drinking?

I don’t really like Oktoberfest beer, I think I have maybe had some that were fine, but I don’t get excited about them as a general rule...

This year I want to get my hands on an imperial pumpkin stout.

This one has a lot going on but I would like to try it.

And the one that has eluded me for the past 4 years. The coffee pumpkin ale.

Aw man. I totally forgot about nabbing this. Hospital life has drained my brain.

If I get a chance I'll try to pick some up this week (if there is any left...)

I'm not sure if I've ever had any kind of Southern Tier before. Thanks for the warning.

You kids crack me up. Whatsamatta wit' beer-flavored beer? Get a Strohs. Have a Hamms. A Chicago-Old Style. A Yeungling. A Shiner Bock. Any one of a million regional beers used to exist and y'all want vermouth-finished barrel aged saisons.

Wankers.

I said it.

Wankers.

Ps. I really like Rivertown Hala Kahiki on a hot day.

Pumpkin spice flavored rolling papers! That's how the bearded stoner hipsters in the trendy city do it.
