That’s three demerits for not posting a picture of Goose’s cat, Lucy. She’s a Chartreuse, you know.

We’re all watching you. Well, not Tuttle. He’s not watching anything but his six. But the rest of us are watching you.
Feral cats are not socialized to people. While they are socialized to their colony members and bonded to each other, they do not have that same relationship with people.

I'm glad that Goose loves Lucy and that she either holds affection toward him, as her source of food and shelter, or she puts up with his pipe focus as we do; but looking at her eyes, behind that black "panther" look, I'm inclined to move away and run fast! :)
There's one very obvious thing wrong in the picture I posted. Can you tell me what it is?
Horseshoes are upside down. Luck runs out the way they're hanging in that pic.

I can't see any horseshoes. I had to change the one I have on a gate. Always have the horse shoe facing forward as if the horse you are riding is going forward. That always helped me. :)

I did this with Sugar Beets with L O N G rows, to earn my tuition in a Boarding School when I was a Freshman; before I worked my way up to the tractors and then TD 9 and 14 CATS.

That is one of my favorite images across the Texas landscape. We used to dove hunt a lot down in Beeville at my buddy's place. My favorite spot to set-up was under an old rusty windmill that fed a mud hole for the cattle. That thing would squeak and spit in a rhythm that was darned near hypnotizing. So peaceful.

That's one of my mind's happy places.

Jim, I agree, and love the sentiment. In South Texas especially, the squeak of an old isolated windmill can put me in a trance, conjure up deep thoughts, and give me the promise of sweet dreams.
