A tad bit of rain last night from the tail end of some Pacific storms that have inundated CA. Forest fires one week. Flooding rains the next. A one, two gut punch.

Will Californians be leaving in droves again? Where will they go this time?

Wind advisory. Sustained winds from 30-40 mph, gusts to 60 mph. Lots of blowing dust. Maybe some of this:

The overnight low was 40 or maybe colder here near an arroyo where I live. Forecast high of only 62. That's cold for the SW Deserts. My cat has been curled up on the bed not wanting to go out in the AZ Room. But on editing this at 9 am, the sun is up in there and she, with her silver-grey coat is out basking in it.

We have deep cobalt blue skies today, horizon to horizon. Rain is on tap for Thurs & Fri.

About 6” of snow Saturday night and yesterday.
First below zero night last night, -4F (-20C) at our house when I got up this morning.

It’s beautiful!

Comforters are warm, but it doesn't make me feel secure like good 'ol heavy & soft flannel sheets and wool blankets. People think it doesn't get cold in the Arizona desert, but it can get cold at night, in the winter. With cloudless skies and thin atmosphere, once the sun drops, temperatures plummet.

An inch of rain forecast here. More weeds. More humidity.

Phoenix looks dry, though, which is good because I have to go there again today for the 3rd of 5 weekly knee injections of goopy rooster comb stuff.

Gray and cold. It's supposed to ice tomorrow with snow on Saturday.

Safe travels, Goose.

It’s snowing here again!
Pup is loving it.

Looks like we may have a normal Colorado winter this year.
Sure hope so.
