It was quite nice today. Sunny. High of 65 and with no wind. Enjoyed my late afternoon bike ride.

Another 9” last night.
Sunny now.
More expected early next week.

We’re in the normal range (if still a little below average) for snowpack moisture content.
This is the first time in several years we’re looking this good in January.

Tomorrow, Saturday, sunny with a high of 68 and then Sunday, mostly cloudy with a high of all the way up to 74! Then cool down again as we enter the work week.

It's been so cold for so long that the pins in our door locks are starting to freeze :/ Thankfully it's warming up today and just -18°c already. Tropical! :taco:

28 degrees this morning. We got a couple of inches of snow yesterday and should be getting more today. This should make unloading the lumber delivery fun. Have ever drifted a forklift? I have.

Sorry about that, but we do "pay" for 70-degree winter days later on.

This morning, at the moment (9 am) we are about 56 degrees and partly to mostly cloudy. And lots of cloudy weather in the forecast for the remainder of the week. We have had an unusually high number of cloudy days this winter

At 12 noon we have bright sunshine and clear blue skies, but it's only 54 and with a 15 mph sustained wind out of the north. The snowbirds still have their shorts and t-shirts on and the natives are bundled up.

Sunny and 54 F at noon, and with a 15 mph sustained wind out of the north is about as wintry as we ever get here.

It's 9:30 am and the sun has been up for a couple hours in Arizona's Sonoran Desert, and it's only 53 F. I have desert thin blood so that feels cold to me. I don't like cold. I like warm.

The area suffering exceptional drought has shrunk dramatically in the latest drought monitor release.
Very good news.

A very nice stretch of weather ahead of us here with Daytime highs at and just above 70 F. We've been waiting for this since "winter" began and it's finally come. However, this morning at 10 am now, though sunny, it's still only 56 f. And with an 8 mph variable wind out of the north. Still feels quite chilly to me.
