Time for the Winnipeg Polar Bear Club swim team members to take a dip.
Let’s see how tough they really are.

Time to pour the old bottle of water and watch it freeze before it hits the ground.

You’re looking at close to -40 next few mornings!
For once, there’s no need to convert F to C.

Cool!
No really. Terribly, terribly cool.
Several years ago, you mentioned "-40°."

Someone asked "Fahrenheit or Centigrade?"

You responded, "First one, then the other."

Pipeson remembered this (he has something like eidetic memory), and pulled this line out for us to laugh again. Thanks...

Mostly cloudy and a light breeze with an expected high of 40 degrees. Which is good as we hope to touch up the exterior paint today. Tonight the temps drop and snow moves into the area. Today is best chance to paint outside before the house goes on the market on the 15th.

Oh, gosh. I hope your paint dried. Water-based paint usually requires above 50 degrees

Big storm coming. Sounds like North Dakota and Minnesota will get the worst of it though

Light rain through the night with some occasional heavier rain. At present, nearly 8:30 am, it is 56 F, cloudy with drizzle. Over an hour later, at 9:45, the temperature dropped to 52 and I see a few chilly days forecast ahead w/ overnight lows near freezing

-5 with some snow on the ground. The temps will drop a bit more and we will be getting more snow.

Nice! You're way warmer than we are here in S AZ. It's only 52

-30 in the wind and over a foot of snow drifted in the driveway today. I'm so glad there's only 2 months of this left Image

Actually it should start warming up a bit in a week or two.

Rain this morning followed by a crisp bright day.
Another band of storm clouds are chugging in bringing more rain to the valley and snow in the mountains.

Had some of those days when I lived in Berrien Springs, MI back in the mid-1980s. But it only became anywhere near your cold once in a while.

Day dawned clearing but soon clouded over again. 2nd day of totally cloudy weather again. A "winter" to remember

The weather has been crazy here the last two day. Upper sixties, light breeze, sunny and not a cloud in the sky. I saw the eagle again on my walk today, blue birds and other birds. I'm in coastal NC and it is usually warmer than many places but this is crazy pleasant weather. Frogs were croaking this morning too. Going to drop down into the forties again on Saturday but I like walking in cool weather too.

We're cold here today, for these parts anyway. Its approaching 11 am and though it's sunny its only 48. Not expected to exceed 52 today.

37” of snow out of the current storm at Wolf Creek and Silverton Mountain.
We’ve had about a foot of snow after some earlier rain.

Today, the wind has been horrendous. All of the paths I’d blown drifted in this afternoon. I’ve blown them again, but the drifting continues.

It’s supposed to get down near zero tonight.

I’ll take this over drought any day.

9 am, sunny and currently 44 F. Fortunately calm. The overnight low was 33 but I saw frost on some rooftops.

Yesterday it was mostly sunny with a few clouds and 78 degrees. Today it's cloudy with a forecasted high of 43 degrees. It will be a good day for a prayer walk I believe.
