Heat index of 112. I mowed after work and drank 6 bottles of water during the day. The color of my urine says I drank enough.

90 degrees F at 6 am. ;-/

It's rare. Usually the summer lows are at about 80.

Clear and 82 F at 6am with a forecast high of 107. Saw quite a bit of monsoon storms around Tucson yesterday but today that appears to have moved up into N. AZ and Utah again.

Dew Point 45 F
Humidity 24 %

Nonsense... my first summer in the area in 2011 had ~20 day stretch of lows of 90.

Here's the note from Phoenix news sources: Greatest number of 110+ days: 33 in 2011 (a look back in 2017 https://www.12news.com/article/weather/ ... /448964915)

I stopped watching the highs and watched the lows and it was pegged at 90 each day. I picked the wrong time to begin watching the 10 day forecast because that bugger never moved for weeks on end. I felt I had moved to literal hell.

Things are better now :)

I should have said 90 F at 6 am was rare for here, where I live in Ajo. We are at 1,759 feet here which is about 750 feet higher than the Phoenix Valley. Overnight lows in the summer are usually around 80, as they were this morning.

Cooled off a bit from the scorching highs we had last week. Later in the week highs only in the mid to upper 90s. Yesterday, lots of clouds but no rain.

Monsoon is officially here as well.
Better late than never!

We’re having sunny, warm mornings, gathering clouds and thunderstorms in the afternoons.
Cool, fresh smelling evenings.

It’s lovely.
