Starbucks Passport Series Summer 2019 Rift Valley Blend; Syphon brewed
This morning I brewed Starbucks' Casi Cielo, or tried to. Our 4-year old Mr Coffee will no longer siphon water up from the reservoir, and onto the grounds. I ended up heating water in the kettle and slowly pouring onto the grounds in the brew basket. So I suppose the brew this morning was more of a French drip brew, which turned out pretty tasty, actually.
I've unplugged the Mr Coffee now, and am now in the market for a new coffee maker of some sort. Four years don't seem very long, but it saw quite a bit of use in those 4 years.
I'm old but I'm happy. (Most of the time.)

If yer really attached to said machine, you could try a descaler. That is, if you haven't already.

I poured vinegar down the siphon tube but that's about it. I went ahead and put it in my shop to work on later, use it out there if I get it going. My wife wants to shop for a new one already.

If it ain't totally plugged (and it sounds like it ain't) then cycling a good descaler through it enough times should fix it right up.
It shouid make better coffee, too, since clearin' the tubes will shorten the brew cycle.

OK...rough morning...my Keurig Mini Plus is not working...water is not getting hot and just trickles into the mug! On the upside...I called Keurig and they are drop shipping a new machine this morning...in the meantime I will have to go downstairs and buy Dazbog.
