What was the last movie you saw?
I watched "The Court Jester" and "The Gospel" over the weekend.

A few days ago I watched a movie called Wonderland on IFC. It stars Val Kilmer as the deceased porn star John Holmes. Well.. Kilmer does not play a deceased John Holmes but, you know what I mean...Anyhow
Based on true events, It centers not on Holmes porn career but instead around his involvment in a quadrupal homicide in a crack house on Wonderland Ave. in West Hollywood. It has a bunch of people in it. Val Kilmer, Lisa Kudrow, Christina Applegate, Dylan McDermott. Josh Lucas, Carrie Fisher, Janeane Garafalo (however you hardly notice her thank goodness)... Not a bad flick that although violent is not as gritty as say Resevoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction. It also does not have the intense sexual situations and nudity one would expect from a film centered around a porn actor. That being said, it is certainly not a kids film.

Memoirs of a Geisha (my wife rented it and I agreed to watch it with her). Not a bad movie because there were quite a few pipe sightings.

Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis.

i heard that they cut like 40 minutes from the original to show in the states...which may be why it was so seemingly stupid. I loved the action, but it seemed like the film's editor was on some really strong stuff...i'm surprised i got as much as i did!!!isaac wrote:Unfortunately it was the protector... I couldn't believe how poorly made the movie was... action seens were good, but the plot...
