Great setup for the ending - especially the very final shot.
We loved it.

I honestly don't remember; it's been awhile.

I watched this on an airplane in March and thoroughly enjoyed it. Rian Johnson redeemed himself after the debacle that was The Last Jedi.

As for me, last film watched was Interstellar - idk how it took me 6 years to get around to watching it. Excellent film, even if the ending was a little bit ambiguous.

Recently watched "A Serious Man" - very Coen brothers, very Jewish. I thought it was a great film.

And yet more recently watched "Ad Astra." Good effects and such, interesting moments, but way too slow and not particularly satisfying ending.

This one didn't really do it for me. Not a bad concept, but it was a bit weird and Daniel Craig's Foghorn Leghorn impression was a bit off-putting. (Not as bad as Costner's accent in 13 days, but still....)
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

I saw that for the first time recently. The scene that got me the most was the Nazi and the US soldier having it out in that upstairs room of the bombed out house. My grampy fought in that war, Canadian special forces I believe. He gave his .303 to my dad.
