Watched a Psycho thriller "The Gift," last evening on Netflicks.

Pretty good until the very end. Then the first two movies don't make sense.

Since everyone is entitled to my opinion, NO it was not good. Abysmal. Unwatchably bad. The pits. And this coming from a big fan of the original.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen, Saaho. Yet I watched all 170 minutes of it.

I just got around to watching Quiqley Down Under.

Talk about a movie showing the era it came from. I love that Cora's name in the credits is actually "Crazy Cora."

Quite enjoyable.

Great movie, heavy with atmosphere. I like the slower, epochal movies, if they have something meaningful to get across. That one did.

Gran Torino - 2008 film starring and directed by Clint Eastwood. I remember seeing the previews for this when it was in the theaters & being interested. 13 years later I finally watched it. Well worth the money spent on the rental.

Also, you could make a drinking game in which you take a small sip of whiskey every time Clint utters some kind of ethnic slur, and do a shot every time he makes some kind of disgusted face. Let me know how that goes for you.
So what value is attached to a post like this? - Tatanka

LOTR Trilogy. The older I get, the more I hate Elijah Wood's portrayal of Frodo. He acts like some emo kid who has just been dumped by his girlfriend and might break out an acoustic guitar at any moment.
