Internet shopping for parts. Why does no one vendor have everything I need?

Just finished tearing the steering box apart. It actually looks pretty good inside. The bushing I figured was missing was indeed not in the proper place, but it was laying down in the sludge. So far no surprises.Image

Been busy lately. But feel like it's the type of busy that never really has much to show for it. Got contracted to build a bunch of cabinets for a school. That's taken the bulk of my time. I'm about half way finished with them...
Image

Needed a break from mandatory stuff and made this little wall art thing from some scraps I had left over from boards I salvaged from the original Country Squire store when I was helping them move to the new location...
Image

Finally "finished" (Not finished in this pic) the retaining wall. Though I still need to back fill everything...

Installed a much needed range vent hood.
The original died a while ago but work schedules, etc had me putting this off.
I tested it during installation by leaning on a range knob and burning the two towels I had laid over it.
Works great. Stinks like hell. Image

Repaired outdoor chair with some ugly welding. More practice and better vision would be a start to regaining that skill.
A grinder and paint help about as much as practice.
Still nothing to crow about, but quality improved by leaps and bounds with new box of welding rods instead of using really old rods scattered about in Daddy's damp basement shop.
Guess that's why pros go to such lengths to keep rods dry.

The front load washer has a failed gasket. Water everywhere for quite a while apparently. I just replaced the floor in the wash room. The water was oozing up from underneath. This is what I found... and how it is now. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
