So, the bottom fell out of the sky last night about 10:30. Things played out just like you predicted as I heard the rain pelt the windows.

I'm not ashamed to say I had an unkind thought towards you, DP, as I went downstairs to look under the sink.

Arrrrrg! Since moving, Mrs FredS and I have taken most Saturdays to explore our new territory. Museums, mountains, breweries, open houses, mild off roading, all sorts of stuff. On the way home Saturday evening I announced that I wanted needed some shop time Sunday afternoon. I need to finish some workbenches and get a portable pipe shop put together 'cause I'm jonseing to make some pipes. I'll be damned if the check engine light didn't come on as soon as the words left my mouth. Sunday morning we went to town for church and groceries and it was really running bad. So yeah, I got some shop time alright. Working on the damned car! A new set of plugs (well, five out of six) and some fuel injector cleaner and she's running like a top.

Workbenches are still mostly a pile of lumber though.

Got the workbenches finished tonight.

Started loading some of my pipe-making power tools on one. It's always darkest before the storm.

In other news, I have a crappy set of 3" swiveling and locking casters from Harbor Freight. One fell apart the first time I stepped on the brake. These gray ones from Menards are schweeeet.

Thanks for the kind word Goose, but it's a mess. I've been in this space 2 months and I'm just now getting around to making it mine.

I am just finishing a report on regional adolescent methamphetamine abuse.

Depressing.

There are other stores besides Costco and Trader Joe's, you know.
I'm glad you picked up on what he meant, though--i honestly thought he had picked up a rotisserie in order to cook a chicken. Hence my response: like a fool, I once overestimated the force necessary to impale the bird and stabbed my hand.
