Kicking around some ideas to build a knock of of this console from Crate&Barrel.

We shall see.
Got 'er sketched out. Now to do some details and make a cut list. I've found sources for the cup pulls and crinkly glass. I'm not sure what to do for the top. The original has a blue stone slab. I'm thinking a weathered galvanized top that looks like zinc. That might be more work than I care to do though. A planked top with bread board ends would be easier. Also need to figure out how to do a barrister bookcase style door for that center glass door.

NICE Gabriel! Do you ever look 'round Ana Whites website?

Also, who needs mortise and tenons when you have pocket holes?

I have, she’s got projects that are usually great for doing with students or in shorter time frames. They are often easily modified up or down as well. This bed is from her website, with a couple modifications of my own.

Yes, I thought your bed was based on one from her site. I like your modifications. Did you decide on a finish yet?

This is the dry fit of one of the table bases. The bracket is steel.

Apple-pear butter and lemon curd. I've made many gallons of the butter over the years, but this is my first attempt at lemon curd. That stuff is kind of a PIA, but doggone, it's good.
