Today I found an old hardwood TV cabinet made to look like a wardrobe at the thrift store for $15. Now I am going to convert it into, ironically, a wardrobe.

I recently turned a wardrobe, that looked like and entertainment center, into an entertainment center. No joke, it's in our master bedroom. Your shopping skills are better, though, mine cost $30.

I spent some time over the last week insulating my garage ceiling with R30. It's 20c in there now. I have an outlet thermostat coming and will keep it at 10.

I got the ash legs mounted to the poplar table I built for my best friend and his wife.

In one pic you can see part of the redwood and cedar chess board I made for him.

If you don't mind Monty - How many hours do you have in finishing that table? It's gorgeous.

Actual hands on hours I’m probably all in at around 20-25 hours.

This is how the top started out, after the initial sanding.

Do you own a bigass planer or did you build some sort of router sled to flatten the slabs? Tell us you didn't plane them by hand.

Hello mont974x4
I cut the slabs in half, borrowed a big ass planer and jointer, and then glued it all back together.

Lot of five pipes I won from PipeStud for a fair price are all exclusive pipes. Tinsky, Castillo, Radice, Charatan, Rutherford. But I have my work cut out for me. I've already begun bringing them back from the brink. All of them can be redeemed. Just gonna take time. All afternoon is my estimate.

Shape they were in when I got them. Oh, them stems ;-/

I have a book matched set of silver maple slabs that I am going to make into matching bars. One for me and one for my best friend.

I don't know what you paid for it but, all in all, that's a superb lot of pipes.
