Last winter-full beard, Spring-mustache, Summer-Goatee, now growing the full beard back for the fall and winter. I don't like shaving and I don't like trimming my beard either. I wouldn't be happy if they hung me with a new rope.

I’m a couple of weeks into the return of full growth. I need to be prepared for that harsh Houston winter that’s coming.

I used to keep a goatee, then started the full beard in the winter business for a few years, then I realized that not shaving was way more convenient than shaving. So it’s a trimmed full beard year round these days.

I have had a full beard since last fall. It was hot and scratchy over the summer and right now it is trimmed down very close 1/4 inch or so. Mustache is still full and will stay that way...I'll see what happens with the beard...I am thinking it will be gone after bird season this year.

I just trimmed off about 6" of beard hair.

I used to grow one on my annual summer pack trip.
The mules are gone and after getting my carotid artery rerouted I can't really shave my neck very well(nerve damage) so it's a beard by default.

I'll be honest, I keep my beard mostly because I just don't feel like shaving (even though I actually enjoy shaving when I do.)

Bud, it seems like you can grow a full beard in about 30 minutes. Weren't you just clean shaven?

Mine grows pretty slowly actually. It will hit a spurt and jump up quick, then just sit there for a month or two and not grow at all.

Normally, I would start growing my beard long, at the beginning of Fall. But I am still interviewing for a job. Yesterday, I took 1/3 of my beard off, so it is now 1/2" long.

Back in college, I took off half my beard. After supper, I took the other half off. Apparently, girls don't like beards that only cover the right side of the face.

Yeah, a faux pas to be sure. You have to grow it on the left. The right side is the queer side.
