Looks like you may be using "whitening" toothpaste like The Judge spoke of.
Naw, it's gotta be somethin' else. Can't imagine the toothpaste gets on top of my head too.

Two selfies from my recent backpacking trip. These were taken at around 5600 feet on Graybeard Mountain. Seems fitting.

Like Jonno, I have to keep it "neat" for work. If I let it go, my hair grows all the up to my eyeballs and bushes out in a matter of weeks.

Beard season again. I started last week. I'm trying, trying I say, to keep the whole thing at at least the 6 week level throughout winter.

I am currently trying to grow a full beard for the first time in my life. I've always had a van dyke. I'm a month into it and will post a pic when it bushes out some more.

I'm a little over a week in. It's a terrible stage right now. It doesn't know whether it's coming or going and the temptation to start shaping and trimming is getting to me.

My beard is in a rebirth phase. Pardon its epiclessness. But my pretty bride is with me, so that makes it ok.

Yeah, dude, if you want people to look at your beard you should leave your wife out of the picture.

Just say'n.

There was a guy at Chicago Pipe Show 2014 who was selling pipes for you. He didn't have a beard.

I sported a close-cropped beard for a long time. Now I shave my head.

Mine is coming in pretty gray so it's hard to judge at this point if it will reach the epic stage of many pipesmokers on this board. It is pretty light near my sideburns.

I've worn a full beard for most of our 14 years of marriage. I shaved it completely once 10 years ago and haven't been clean shaven since.

Here's a recent one from our family vacation to Chincoteague, VA:

No idea why this is appearing rotated since it's not that way on my computer. Oh well. Too lazy to fix it.

I cut mine last week and went back to a goatee for the summer. I enjoy a full beard, but it has become frowned upon in my work establishment.

My face has not been completely bare since 1982.

I try to keep my beard about 1/2". OK, it gets longer around Christmas, so I can look like a skinny Santa.

I need to do a wild hair trim. Try to keep it only 1/2 inch off or so, longer looks better with my round face.
