Yep
Ahh, that's a different animal!
I've had two domes and one of the last of the cabins over the years. The big dome didn't even survive it's first trip. IIRC, the cabin was an anatomically ridiculous tent to pitch. I still have medium size dome, but it only gets used as my temporary quarters at Boy Scout Camp. If the lads set it on fire or something it's no big loss. :cheese:
Don't get me started on what a summer snowstorm can do to a Coleman dome tent :egor:

And Hasselhoff.

I'm glad I don't usually have a lot of cash on me when I hit "antique" shops that have Coleman stuff. I'd hoard the old white gas stoves and lanterns, fer sure.

Speaking of Coleman gear - anyone check out their campers? I've been rather ... unimpressed.

I had a late 80s Coleman pop-up for a bunch of years passed it on just last year. We got lots of use and fun out of it. Only one I've had though... So nothing to compare it with.

We had a 2003 Colman Popup Camper. Had it 3 years...not your typical popup...it was huge....but we can't park it at the house, and I got tired of paying $55 a month to store it and only use it 3 or 4 times a year. so we sold it 2 springs ago...still have my colman tent and bags lantern.

Coleman makes some neat higher end sleeping bags. I still have my dad's white gas stove and lantern. My old Coleman propane stove (22 years old when it fell off the truck :( )I now use for melting lead for bullets and I just bought a new replacement one for car camping.

I bought this new in the mid-'80s. Still use it. Last time just a couple of weeks ago. Coleman 508.

We had a VERY difficult time getting Kelty to repair a rainfly that tore the first time the tent was set up.

The Boy and I fired up the '66 228f tonight. He couldn't believe all the prep needed to get it working and declared that using old stuff was "cool".

Coleman recently sent me a couple silicone or neoprene seals/ gaskets for the valve cap on those blue 5 gallon plastic water containers. And, also, at no charge.

Mrs UB wanted some pastries and horchata so we went to the flea market this morning. I found a Coleman 425e stove for $10.

So this is your 3rd? Are they on display or packed up? That would make for pretty cool man cave knick knacks.

Yep, its my third stove and I have two lanterns. I may be developing a new sickness hobby. And it seems I am not alone: http://www.colemancollectorsforum.com/

They are just stacked right now but I plan on displaying them in the future.
