I keep having to self-censor in order not to make some dark and morbid joke on the various Facebook posts about COVID-19. A significant portion of my friends list would not appreciate it.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

I hate being profiled by police when I ride my moped about. The other day a motorcycle cop actually waved at me and I didnt have anything nice to say so I just said a quick prayer to keep all moped riders safe as they scoot about.
Tired of being profiled as a teenager, or what?

SB 1109 defines motorcycle profiling as “the arbitrary use of the fact that a person rides a motorcycle or wears motorcycle-related paraphernalia as a factor in deciding to stop and question, take enforcement action, arrest, or search a person or vehicle.”

I am a lifelong motorcyclist who has firsthand experiences with this.It gets old. It is getting better but it is a real issue and still continues.
I never knew that was a problem. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding, and I’m sorry you had to deal with harassment.

Something similar to this:

He got pulled over quite a bit randomly and then he'd take off his helmet. He was heading into his 60s and the officer would be like "oh, well, hmmmm.... have a nice day. Be careful out there."

I miss aspects of Morely. I may have been a big factor in chasing him away when he doggedly fussed at Hov-- although his cantankerous facade at that time was coming across as incessant bullying, I care for each of them.

I wonder how A. M. is doing with all the isolation time.

I love when you Christians write stuff like that. "I think he's inferior to me but I care about him, you see, because I'm superior."

We all do it, but it's not confession. It's justification. We cannot confess why we think we're right.

Meh.

I gave backstory but not needed.

I miss Morely around here. And I wonder how he's doing.

I confess I feel I was a factor in his leaving.

I need to pray more. And listen more. And be the "doer of the Word, not the hearer only". I need my mind cleaned out. It is a terrifying place enough for an unbeliever. For a believer, it is horrible.

I confess to feeling guilty about Onyx.

I confess to wanting to needle him today.

I confess to being a believer in name but not in deed.

I confess to anger.

I confess to lying.

I confess to arrogance.

I confess to sloth.

I confess to lust.

I confess to Corona-related acedia.

I'd confess to a priest, but there aren't any.

The virus has me angry.
It’s robbing me of my marriage because the government isn’t functioning.
It’s robbed us of our honeymoon.
It’s robbing us of major healing events that need to happen with our ex-spouses.
It robbed me of my job. It’s robbing me of a new job in my field. It may be robbing me of my temp job.
It’s made people very ugly to one another.
It’s robbed people of part of the grieving process over lost loved ones.
It’s robbed kids of their youth and innocence.
