Bought some Knob Creek Single Barrel 120 proof. Never had this quality of a bourbon before, I usually drink Evan Williams BIB. I thought the 120 would be a lot hotter, but the bourbon is so smooth I didn't notice. This is really good stuff.

It's a little out of my price range, since Evan Williams BIB is such a great bourbon for the price, it will continue to be my "go to". But I think I'll keep a bottle of the KC single barrel for that special sip.

Knob Creek Single Barrel is a good whiskey. Definitely a good special bottle to keep on hand.

KC makes a good rye also, though not as good for the price as Old Overholt, which is the benchmark in that Dept.
I still haven't tried EW BiB but it's on my list.

Kroger started carrying Evan Williams bottled in bond. The price is nice. I'm about to crack it open and see if y'all are right about it.

But why stop there when you can get a bottle of Gordon & acPhall 125th Anniversary 1984 (Distilled at Glenbury Royal: Cask No. 2335 for a mere $2,500.00 a bottle.

I think I'll just press my nose down on the ad and sniff!
