This is Nixon (retriever) and Fat Finley cuddling. Fatty was a rescue and has just warmed up to love from others in the last year. He reminds me of people Image

This is Rupert cuddling with Nixon... Or Poopert on the days he comes running into the house with a piece of poop in his mouth to play with. That dog ain't right.

In addition to all the critters I posted on the previous page, the thread title made me think of this:

A note left for my wife by a well meaning, but somewhat spelling-challenged child of ours. :bacon:

Chuckle.

I see the thread title and think it says something inappropriate for our site.

This is Beauregard von Poofendorf, A.K.A. Beau, an utterly useless excuse for a dog

He was free, and worth every penny. MrsCoco brought him home one day, and he is decidedly her dog.

No, but I have had a couple of other breeds that challenged the spirit of the meme.

Mine bit the largest man anyone of us had ever seen, a fellow named Ellbee. Yard wide son of a b/tch. Dogs teeth met in the middle of Elbee's butt cheeks. Luckily, Elbee laughed before he threw the dog over the fence.

Also, that pooch was the only dog I've ever seen knowingly remain lying down in a yellow jacket nest thinking it was the best course of action.

Dad sad he wouldn't waste a shell on a dog that stupid. I'm still laughing at the memories of that dog.

What do you think is wrong with the spelling?

This is my pal Jackie. She's a Border-Collie/Shepherd mix. I think there's some Bat in there too. She's too smart for her own good.

I tell her all the small dogs are just variations on squirrels. She likes to chase squirrels. She likes cats and if they'll refrain from running she seems to talk to them. Loves to roll in anything dead or yucky smelly stuff.

Just a quick post to say . . .
I hope this thread keeps going forever.

I don't post after every new photo appears, but I sure want to.
All of the photos posted either bring a smile to my lips or a tear to my eye.

Wonderful thread.
Wonderful "beasts."

Just because he cut the sleeves off of that flannel shirt doesn't mean you should call him "Cooter".

Last summer I decided to play a joke on my bride and have her dog turned into a lion. It's been that way ever since.

The dog loves it, the wife not so much.

This picture was taken five minutes before she pooed on my least favorite rug today. I love this dog.

Now that right there is funny. Not so much the way the dog looks as what I imagine your wife's reaction was the first time she saw it.
