Nothing of late in the news showing work progress at the Dam. Been almost a month since we last saw anything. Perhaps the media is being kept away?
I fell for it. Sparked my curiosity I guess. A quick BING search revealed that if you search for media coverage of Oroville Dam you will find it.

Really great. Thank you Jester!
Maybe this is why poor Goose is always asking questions: he doesn't really know how to use Google or Bing. Does he still have an AOL e-mail address?

Round the clock, 24/ 7 work on the colossal main spillway continues at CA's Oroville Dam. They have lowered the Lake level quite a bit to widen the window in which work can continue, should there be early big storms. By golly, from the 2nd clip, of Sept 25, it surely does look like they are going to get this done. Remarkable.

I don't feel like "0 %" represents the actual likelihood that Goose will ever "get it." Although mathematically correct, it just doesn't encapsulate the hopelessness he engenders.

You see something wrong in updating this thread with progress of reconstruction of the spillway?

Should I have started a new thread?

Phase II of the Oroville Dam Spillway reconstruction has been going well and it looks like they are on track to have the project complete before next winter. Here's a cool video of recent work as well as some dramatic drone fly overs....

I hope it's not the same crew that's working on the high speed rail! A bunch of the new bridges in Madera need replacing because of defects --- they developed cracks shortly after construction.

Yeah. Massive project. It has to be with projected 100,000 cubic feet per second coming down that thing. This is another captivating video of recent progress.....

Oroville Spillways Phase 2 Update July 12, 2018

Crews continue to place leveling concrete on the upper chute of the Lake Oroville main spillway, while other workers install forms over a structural rebar panel to prepare for the placement of more structural concrete. Meanwhile, mechanical demolition continues on the dentates at the bottom of the main spillway.
