We had a visitor last night and this morning - a former student.
We got up early to watch the sunrise in the canyon from our front porch and I snapped yet another photo of the rock face to our north:

Handheld at 800 ISO with the Fuji XE 1 and Fujinon 35mm f/1.4 lens.
File compressed to about 1/4 of full resolution for quicker download.

I've photographed it over and over - all seasons, all light. It never ceases to amaze me. The main rock face is 350' high.
Local climbers call it Quarter Dome.
