Yer Latest Pie

Post by UncleBob » Thu Sep 07, 2017 8:30 pm

I went to a bbq last weekend and enjoyed some lemon blueberry pie.

It was tasty.

Great minds...

My wife and I split a beef and link plate and a piece of pecan pie just before the storm came.

Made a walnut pie from one of the '50s Pillsbury cook-off cookbooks, and an Apple crumb pie from the telephone pioneers of America cookbook just last week. They were outstanding... No, I did NOT eat them myself... well, not ALL by myself...

My wife makes chicken pot pie from scratch. That is my absolute favorite and it just so happens that it was also my latest.

Alas! No raisin pie--yet. I have a recipe, though. Too bad DL isn't around these parts because I imagine one slice will do me.
