Last year I won the cape for Presentation and the trophy for Taste in the annual Friendsgiving Pipe Contest. It was the first ever dual winner in Friendsgiving history. This year's event is tomorrow at 3pm and I should really be working on defending my crown, but I have zero ideas.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We all have much for which to be thankful even if we sometimes think we don't.
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6,7 ESV

My give-a-hoot is broken right now, so I'm comfort cooking for therapy. The pumpkin and pecan pies are finished and the apple is almost done in the oven. I made a banana pudding big enough to swim in and I'm about to prep the sweet potatoes and ham to go in the oven in the morning.

In between oven cycles we're catching up on a couple of our shows on the DVR.

I'm also a few snorts into a bottle of apple brandy which seems to have helped my mood considerably.

Happy Thanksgiving, buds. I'm grateful for y'all (for realz).
