So is Lipton the Prince Albert of teas? (Based on some of the above posts.). I used to drive by the old Lipton warehouse and docks in Galveston and think it was pretty exotic. Not that I want a box of it sent to me, of course.
I'm old but I'm happy. (Most of the time.)

Maybe. Simple and good with milk. The only thing I know against it is it is basically composed of the dust of higher grades of tea.

The only reason I suggested not including it in a pass is because I'd think everyone is familiar with it.

I plan on going to a local tea shop today for box pass samples!

My daughter and I visited two tea shops yesterday.

Yesterday at the mall, we wandered into a Teavana. The staff told us that sales were final, as Teavana is closing all of its shops.

Do we want to wait until after Christmas or shall we go forward now?

I think that after Christmas would be better.

My daughter wrapped the tea I recently purchased. It is somewhere mixed in with all the other wrapped gifts. I won't have access to it until after Christmas.

Of course called her multiple names, Silly Daughter, Dipstick! and other appropriate titles.

May I suggest "Prolonger of Tea Possession?"

I am tentatively in. (I'm terrible at getting to the post office, and funds are snug at the moment, but I have tea to spare!) I can't drink black tea at the moment (AND I WANT TO) but oolong, green, puerh, and herbal all work for me. I have a double-width, three shelf cabinet of tea. I'd be happy to go early on and share a few lot.

I'm tentatively in, if the pass is done after Xmas madness.

Nice. This is getting interesting. If you ever get the chance, Brigid, I'd love to know more about pue-erh. I've tried it (really low quality) and I couldn't quite identify it as tea.

Welp, it is next year! I was thinking that each person should keep the package for about a week so they can try more of the teas. What do you think?

Too late to add Alastair? We consulted by telephone and he would like to join in.

Hmm.. no. He can slide in after me and before you--if no one else objects.
