Re: Work!
Most of the Aramark summer employees are college kids, and all the employees have been evacuated from the park---there is no water or power in Yosemite Valley and the air is dangerous. These kids now have no income and have no place to stay. The places where they did work may not be standing if/when they will be allowed to return. We were told that the fire crews are working 16 hour shifts and are exhausted--resulting in lots of injuries.

Re: Work!
Prayers for all concerned in those terrible wildfires. They've even affected us way down here with poor air quality

Smoke from California's many wildfires spreads as far east as Salt Lake City in this image, which was captured by NASA's Aqua satellite on July 29, 2018.
The wildfire about 225 miles (360 kilometers) north of San Francisco started more than two weeks ago by sparks from the steel wheel of a towed-trailer’s flat tire. It killed two firefighters and four residents and displaced more than 38,000 people.
