Listened to Cards vs Mets as an escape at my in-laws this afternoon. Beautiful day on their front porch with a bowl of PA.

They all found me eventually, but it was nice for a while.

Getting tired of losing to MIL

Although STL is up by 2 with the bases loaded and no outs in the 7th.

Yep. The Cards had that one but kept leaving the door open until the 8th, I think.

Team I'm most interested in, San Fransisco, still is near the bottom in batting average and runs scored. A .210 combined team batting avg. that's anemic. This has plagued them for years and has become chronic. Pitching is good but that doesn't help if you can't score runs.

Batting Avg
29th
.210 AVG

Runs
28th
90 R

Earned Runs Avg
8th
3.65 ERA

It's always a good day when the Giants beat the Dodgers. Nicely, well pitched, low scoring game with a dramatic walk-off win. Even though manager Bruce Bochy was tossed out of the game for arguing balls and strikes. You'll have to click "Watch on YouTube".....

Listening to the STL v. WAS game from earlier. This is the best part of the MLB subscription.
