Palm Sunday

Post by Hovannes » Sun Apr 14, 2019 4:58 pm

Somebody comes up, takes a palm leaf and asks "How do I make a cross?"
I reply "Do I look like Martha Stewart?"
"What doesn't kill you, gives you a lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms and a really dark sense of humor."

No. Correct answer was "Ask Wosbald. He says you deserve it."

I saw a post somewhere (possibly @BackRowBaptist) that a church was considering putting Bible verses on palm fronds to give to the kids for Palm Sunday, but then decided not to because they didn't want to encourage palm reading.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

Where do you guys put your fronds during Mass? I try to hold mine as long as possible, but that becomes awkward during the Consecration, so I then lay it on the pew.
