Man on the Moon

Post by sweetandsour » Tue Jul 16, 2019 8:24 pm

I'm watching the TV specials, 50th anniversary and all that. I was a teenager, all into it and everything. Seeing the clips of Walter Cronkite brings back memories. My dad watched the CBS evening news even though he couldn't stand Cronkite. Cronkite signed off every night with his signature "... and that's the way it is", and my dad would respond by saying "Bullpucky" right at the TV screen.
I'm old but I'm happy. (Most of the time.)

A wise man, your dad.

I heard the phrase Walter Commie more than once growing up.
