Ailing Knees, Anyone?

Post by Goose55 » Fri Nov 22, 2019 8:19 pm

For the past couple few years I have been getting an annual series of 5 weekly 2.5mL injections of Supartz, a visco-supplementation in my knees which helps sustain what cartilage I have left. For anyone in a similar situation I would highly recommend it.

Yes. That is my understanding. On this 5 injection round, I am having them inject the material w/o 1st injecting the Lidocane. The PA who gave me my first injection last week said at his previous practice, that is what they did. Makes sense. The Lidocane would dilute the Suprartz.

Knowing when the timing is right to have a knee replacement can be a difficult decision to make. Joint lubrication injections are a treatment that is intended to relieve the symptoms of knee arthritis and delay the need for knee replacement surgery.

The knee is a synovial joint, meaning it contains a fluid-filled capsule. Participation in sports and recreational activities are risk factors for knee injury.

I've heard a lot of good things about cock's comb.
You'll get a lot of use out of your knees in Israel!

None of them good for the rooster.
