I work tonight so it's a gin and tonic sans gin. Tonic water and lime is still refreshing after a bit of moving today though.

Beringer Chardonnay, chilled. I wiped out the whole bottle. After a 12 hour butt whooping at work over night, I was planning an early start. Delightful!

Last sip of the rye. The bottle is empty now, "a dead soldier" some used to say.

With dinner (pasta) we had some Pinot Noir from Talbott vineyards.

We were moving stuff all day. Now I sip on gin and tonic while we watch TV on a laptop. Those minimalists might be on to something.

If you get something new, get rid of the old. If you are unwilling to get rid of the old, then you probably didn't need the new.

Sitting on the back deck sipping on a whiskey sour made with Evan Williams BIB and simple syrup made with honey. Smoking a bowl of Wilke Vermont Maple. It's a great evening.

It has lots of flavor to survive the ice or water though. I used to drink 101 frequently.
