A toast

Post by CodeMonkey » Wed Jan 06, 2021 10:36 pm

If you would like to raise you glass in a toast, you can do so here. It can be a family member, profession, institution, or anybody.

I will start out by raising my glass in a toast to the men and women in our military service.

Today was a crowning blow to a year-long kick in the gut for my first responder buds. The toll it’s taking on them is dramatic.

I’ll raise a glass to them.

I raise a glass to Codemonkey. He's always thinking of others.

I'll raise a glass to CM, JVH and RM, the 3 first responders to this thread. Or perhaps the first 3 responders.

I will join you in that toast. Here's to the first responders.

I raise my glass to honor the memory of Brian D. Sicknick. He was the Capitol police officer who died defending the Capitol. May he rest in peace and his family find comfort.
