Waterproofing Shoes?
I'm not going to find all the feature I want in a shoe my size. So can you waterproof leather?

Re: Waterproofing Shoes?
You can increase the water-resistance of leather by using products sold at any shoe store, sporting-goods store, or biker apparel shop.
This is common in Wisconsin, where shoes are exposed to slush and salt all winter.
Water-proofing leather boots will require regular maintenance.

I use bees wax on my hiking boots. That's what the maker recommended anyway.

I've been wearing some Walmart Brahmas to work in for the last couple months. They aren't what they used to be, but so far have been a decent boot that I don't worry about getting banged up. They have waterproof uppers and Walmart carries some pretty large sizes. If not in store then online for sure.

There are many terrible attributes of the lowly cob. Not the least of them is that it makes you look like a doof.
