Personally I always liked him as part of baseball, and all that. He was always booed, however, whenever the Dodgers played in Houston. Something he said, was the reason for the boos, back in the late 70s when the Dodgers and Astros were ending up tied for first, and had to decide the division pennant by a playoff game.
Good baseball times, back in the Astrodome. Bleacher seats for $3, cold beer in a paper cup and a dome-dog for $5 on dollar-hot-dog night.
