This idea for a 40th birthday event occured to me about 4am so it may not be the best. The cost difference is $10 per person.

The shrimp boat sounds more interesting to me, but the sunset cruise, at least in my relationship, would be a better choice for an anniversary event.

A sunset cruise would be more romantic.

When our kids were real little we went on a Mother's Day Sunday brunch cruise and the Captain "let" them steer.
Of course the ship was on some sort of auto pilot so it didn't matter how they turned the wheel. :lol:
