for some reason that I do not understand, I have developed an interest in the life of Winston Churchill lately. I've watched several docudramas, many documentaries, and a few lectures on the man. I'm currently reading a biography of him by Martin Gilbert.
He was an astonishing man, not just because of his wartime leadership, but his whole life. What impresses me the most is his totally unhealthy lifestyle. He died at age 90. At any rate he absolutely enjoyed the finer things of life, things I'll never experience although I do drink Johnny Walker Red Label scotch and smoke a big cigar on occasion.
Anyway, just wanted to share and see if any of you guys had any thoughts on the guy.
