Nope. I'm working on getting a "dog collar." Besides, my wife would laugh too much if I wore a bowtie.

Peace and Blessings
Take a little trip back . . .

I took a trip to the post office. Of the holiday cards on sale, I could not but notice that the greyhound depicted on the novelty card was wearing the same outfit as myself. My tie was somewhat crooked when this picture was taken.

I wear a bow tie with unrepentant exclusivity now.Image

Have you ever tried tamping a pipe with full fingered gloves? Or filling a pipe? Or holding a pen? Those gloves are like a trademark for me.

Bought a tux last year.

Committed myself to learn how to tie a silk bow tie.

A couple of years ago I switched to a real bowtie for my dress uniform at formal functions. Problem is if I go a few months without wearing it I have to google how to tie it :|

I do agree it looks better. Especially when the formal part of the night is done, the tie gets untied and the party shirt comes out :D

I like them. I got one, learned to tie it, but struggled. I figured out that it was too short. It is hard to find big and tall bow ties. Most of them that say they go up to 19 inch neck size.

I haven't worn a bowtie since I was a small child.

I do have around 100+ regular ties. My wife loves the jeans and tie combo, so it shows up regularly at work and casual meetings.

The only suit I have is the one I wore to prom and to our wedding. Haven't worn it since. No bow ties.

What a coincidence. I haven't worn a long tie in years and still act like a child.

Your accent makes it impossible for you to properly tie any tie.

It doesn't go well with the tux either.

But no one notices much, as they also sound like me.

A gift in such hackneyed, poor taste I'd have expected for it to have come from Del.

And I would think it is pretty funny, too.
